Oscars 2011

Better late than never, right? Anyway I don't have much to say. Except this year wasn't very impressive movie wise, red carpet dresses nor the Oscar ceremony itself.

The Fighter is so over rated. It's an OK movie. And if anyone should have been given an Oscar for their performance in it, it's Amy Adams, not Christian Bale because Geoffrey Rush - from The King's Speech- deserved it more and definitely not Melissa Leo.

I'm very happy for Colin Firth. Well deserved. And plus I have been in love with him since forever. Even when he was given lame stupid roles, I loved him.

Natalie Portman, although the movie wasn't that great but her acting was top notch. Absolutely beautiful and well deserved.

As for the Oscars presenters this year, James Franco and Anne Hathaway, they were eih. What's up with Anne changing her dresses? If they were beautiful I would have understood but ... James was a total cookie, no? Miss you Hugh Jackman.

If I were Mandy, I would be very upset with myself after this performance. Her vocals were just off. Zack did a better job and he's not a singer.

On another Tangled note, don't we just love the thief? Charming chap. But I can't help thinking the princess could have done better. Of course she would love him, she never saw another human being and he is charming. And of course he would love her, she is pure hearted and I don't know a princess with magical hair. BUT Disney why are you teaching little girls to settle? I loved the movie and I wished Flynn/Eugene was real so I better just shut up.

Now the gowns, ugly was very in in this red carpet walk. But I won't bother with that.

Grammy 2011

Finally, I got to see The Grammy Awards last night. What can I say? I am a busy person. And it was fun! Here is what I have to say about it. xD

• Christina Aguilera, pregnant? Cuz nothing else explains the double chin, tummy and arms.
• Ricky Martin seems to really enjoy coming out with that silver ugly pants. LOL good for him.
• Dear Lady Gaga, "don't be a drag, just be a queen"? LOOK WHO'S TALKING! The whole night, everything she did and wore was an epic fail.
• While Katy Perry was performing Teenage Dream, Nicole Kidman was singing. The cutest thing.
• It's disgusting how Justin Biber and John Mayer would both be nominated in the same category. I didn't hate JB before but now!
• JB needs an IQ test ASAP! I looked up the lyrics and he says never in his Never Say Never song, 38 times!
• The person who dresses Rhianna should quit NOW!
• The Suburbs, album of the year, really? FAIL!

La Tortura

I love Shakira. And this song is one of my all time favourites of hers. But to tell you the truth, before last night, I only could understand the word Amor.

Last night I was in the Spanish-Shakira mood and since I really want to learn Spanish and I don't have the time to take proper lessons now -inshallah I will in the summer- I decided to google the lyrics of Spanish songs, memorise the new words and their meanings. One song a night. And La Tortura won tonight. I must say, I'm more in love with this song than ever. He's begging for her forgiveness and giving her his heart and she's dismissing him like the cheating dog he once was. Estoy gusta. I don't know if that is even gramatically correct but I likey :P

Let's hope I keep it up.

Yes? No? Or Maybe?

As hot, smart, assertive, self sufficient young ladies the train -I'm not gonna say marriage but- of being in serious relationships might pass us by. For the lack of suitable worthy men, whom are strong enough to handle such assertiveness. Plus we don't have the time for whining, insecure men in our lives.

Usually a woman of such qualities after a certain age and amount of years when she established her career and position in life, becomes open to having that whinny little man in her life. She could go for a guy her age whom somewhat might appear mature and accomplished but sadly can't get it up. Or she can be labeled as the sexy cougar that is looking for a much younger play toy of a man. Just like Demi Moore and Ashton.


But what if this hot cougar is not even in her 30s? Hell she's still in her late 20s. Then we call her a puma. But what if she was 22 and she is attracted to 19 year old guys. Then what? We call her a kitty? A term for such case wasn't invented cuz usually it doesn't exist. But sadly that is the bizarre case with our friend Tatiana.
Tatiana found herself in a situation where she is surrounded by 19 year old boys and no real men in sight. For a 22 year old that should be a turn off. But those are hot, muscular, would put Sergio Ramos into shame 19 year olds. So let's not be rash and discard the idea of dating such younger men -or kids- so fast. But first you must know we are not talking about Arabs. Cuz then they will be skinny and small and girls their own age wouldn't wanna date them let alone an older girl.

Pros for dating a 19 year old:

• He is hot. But then again so are guys in their twenties.

• He is easy to control.

• He would do anything to please you.

• According to Tatiana an older girl seems perfect to the younger guy and he doesn't compare you to other women. My theory to explain is: maybe there weren't any other women or they weren't sober enough to remember such women.

• He likes to show you off. Man I scored an older hot chick -or puma.

• You can be your silly self around him and act childish.

• You don't have to worry about him chasing 19 year old girls cuz they still have pimples.

Now the cons:

• He is a TEENAGER!
• If women complained from 40 year old men immaturity. Let's not begin to talk about those children.
• He WILL embarrass you in front of your friends.
• Even though you are just 22, you'll always be reminded that you are OLDer.
• It is still not socially accepted.
• You can never ever expect him to be serious or thinking of a future to your relationship.
• He might still have pimples.

Although the cons are less aren't they more destructive to the relationship than the more pros? Help Tatiana decide is dating a 19 year old a yes? A big no? Or just a maybe?

Girls Night Out

Yesterday I went out with 2 of my football-Portugal-Cristiano-fans-friends to watch what other than the match between Brazil and Portugal. We went to Campioni Sports Cafe. It's a hot exclusive spot to watch the world cup here in Jeddah. Definitely a must go for you football freaks. Though you must buy your tickets a few days before the match you desire to watch that is if you don't want to shed sweat blood and tears to get it, like we did.

We painted our faces in red and green in solidarity with Portugal. Most of the people there were Brazil fans except a bunch of women in the ground floor that kept screaming with US. The screaming is very confusing. The guy who was rooting for Brazil kept screaming out of terror and sometimes joy and we would get confused as to if we saw something different. Plus that dude brought his kids and dressed them all in Brazil shirts. A sight very sore to the eye. Then there was the not so sore, yummy bunny Cristiano *sigh*. He looked so CUTE. But he did get on our nerves a little bit. Why doesn't he chase the fucking ball? He gives up so easily. At least that's what we think. I don't think he should have been awarded Man of the Match. But hey he's happy, I'm happy. xD

Fun facts about the menu, they have a hookah named after Cristiano. Shitty thing I don't smoke that thing. Why couldn't they make him a desert so I would eat him? *pout*

And the food was named after football teams. Real Madrid was basal pasta. I wasn't in the mood for it and I'm not that obsessed with Cristiano so I passed. I got an AC Roma burger which I'm not sure if it's a combination between AC Milan and AS Roma? Or if there is actually a team called that? :/

Pity we can't go watch Germany kicks England's ass tomorrow cuz we must study for our fnals. Or maybe it's a good thing? Cuz both of my friends are with England and we are very hot blooded people, whom takes football VERY seriously. And Obviously our friendship is much more important :P

If I Were A Boy

I was thinking of how much of a catch I would make if I were a dude. I mean, A) I am a doctor to be and we all know how much women LOVE doctors. B) I would make a handsome guy. I have been told that my twin male is Joe Jonas. He looks just like my older brother, so yeah maybe?But of course I won't be wearing skinny jeans like a little girl.

C) I can cook? OK. Just bake, but you ladies like cookies right?:P D) I am VERY moral. E) Maybe cuz I won't suffer from PMS and the fucking hormones won't mess with my head, I would be more nicer and pleasant to be with? Or will the testosterone just make it worse? F)I'm as emotionally retarded as a man and commitment-phobic which gives you ladies the opportunity to fix me. Yeah women are nuts. They like a lost cause. But of course when they lose, they'll find out how much of a waste of time I was. Poor things LOL.

The reason why I went through this path of thinking, is because I was saying to myself: If my friends were guys, though they really are good people, I would never date them and probably would be running screaming for dear old heart. Still I love them as girls and I really don't care much about the flaws that would make them terrible partners. for instance, one of my friends thinks that telling lies and making bets that you could make someone fall for you, is totally fine and FUN! That "fun" part, scares the fuck out of me.

Another girl, she's nice and all but she really never or will ever really care and she's a blabber mouth, so you know all your business will be known to everyone. We girls want to talk and feel safe, so I'm telling you that is not good boyfriend material. Girls, I say this with absolute love.

But really why are we sometimes attracted to the bad guys? And always ignoring the nice ones in our lives? Just yesterday, one of my friends was telling me about a guy who liked her but he's really ugly. So I told her to shut him down LOL. But she said he was so nice though. So dear old me gave her the ultimate boy advice "You befriend nice guys, not hook up with them". Yeah, I know I am absolutely messed up. That's why I don't date at all. But that dude has a bigger flaw than just being ugly. A deal breaker flaw and I will just leave it at that.

So girls if you were boys would I want to date you? And what kind of boys do you usually fall for?

Yesterday I got this broad cast on my BBm: "Who Am I To U?" Ur answer must be a title of a movie. Forward this to all of your friends and see all the funny replies you get :D

I forwarded it and man how much did I laugh. What people replayed was:

Please Be Straight

For a couple of days now, I was watching Brothers & Sisters. It is a good show after all. But that is not what this post is about.

Noticed Scotty -Kevin's husband. He is so hot, the nicest thing ever and plays a chef. If anyone like that exist, I want him. So I had to google him to make sure he is not really gay. But guess what? He is gay. And the real shocker, guess who's his boyfriend? Wentworth Miller.

That leaves me with my friend's Fadiosis question when she found out the Adam Lambert was gay: Why is all good men gay? *Sigh*

No, come to think of it. I don't REALLY KNOW any gay guys. Except for that one guy that I suspect that he is and he reminds me of monkeys and still I don't know him. So the real question is why do the media make gay guys look so glamorous, cute and extremely nice?

It's the time of the year where Miss Smart CoOkie thinks its time to ditch medical school and head to Hollywood BABY!!

P.S: I was excited about writing this post while I was watching the Oscars. But half way through it, I lost my Internet connection. Now, I'm not so excited.

So how was it? First I miss Hugh Jackman. He was so much funnier plus sexier. :P

Second, that bitch - Gorge Clooney's date- is so fucking annoying. I want to slap her!

Wasn't Ben Stiller hilarious? Or wasn't he hilarious? LOL loved him.

I loved it when Sandra Bullock won. Not that I wasn't sure she was the one to win. But how she reacted was so CUTE! Congrats you really deserved it ♥

Kathryn Bigelow was incredibly cute too. I'm so happy she won. First best director female, such an accomplishment. Have you noticed when she won her ex-husband -the director of Avatar- was smiling and apparently happy for her, although he too was nominated for the award. But when her movie The Hurt Locker won, he was very upset cuz his movie lost. I thought it was interesting LOL.

It wasn't much of a surprise of whom won from the actors and actresses. But the Best picture, wohaa. The Hurt Locker. Never heard of it before. And I don't like this kind of movies. But I must see it now.



What next? Ahh the dresses. Those are my favorite.

My Best Friend Rihanna

It's true. According to last night's dream, me & she are besties. :S

*WARNING* This is the weirdest dream EVER!

I was in AL-Kuwait with my friend Z and we were just about to go have fun & we were going to a club or something and then I saw this dude from uni looking at us & then he entered a club. We followed him in. And OMG it's not a club. It's fucking Jeddah & we are in the 2nd floor hospital auditorium LOL.

It's not enough that we are in the hospital. No I found out that we have an exam (7mass). The place was crowded with boys & girls. And OMG Rihanna was singing on stage. She finishes her song & go upstairs to where I was sitting. No one pays attention to her except me. I go to her and ask if I could have my picture taken with her. She says yes. I set next to her and she tells me to show my teeth when I smile. And oh she has braces too LOL. Then we start gossiping & laughing so hard. The girls gave us the stink eye & they boys were so jealous.

Then there were some doctors on stage reviewing some information with the students before the exam. I wanted to listen to what they were saying but the bitch won't shut up. At first I try to listen to her & to them but I can't and I'm missing on a lot. Then every thing was a blur, I can't remember. But next thing we were having an ugly fight. Why? LOL
