Oscars 2011

Better late than never, right? Anyway I don't have much to say. Except this year wasn't very impressive movie wise, red carpet dresses nor the Oscar ceremony itself.

The Fighter is so over rated. It's an OK movie. And if anyone should have been given an Oscar for their performance in it, it's Amy Adams, not Christian Bale because Geoffrey Rush - from The King's Speech- deserved it more and definitely not Melissa Leo.

I'm very happy for Colin Firth. Well deserved. And plus I have been in love with him since forever. Even when he was given lame stupid roles, I loved him.

Natalie Portman, although the movie wasn't that great but her acting was top notch. Absolutely beautiful and well deserved.

As for the Oscars presenters this year, James Franco and Anne Hathaway, they were eih. What's up with Anne changing her dresses? If they were beautiful I would have understood but ... James was a total cookie, no? Miss you Hugh Jackman.

If I were Mandy, I would be very upset with myself after this performance. Her vocals were just off. Zack did a better job and he's not a singer.

On another Tangled note, don't we just love the thief? Charming chap. But I can't help thinking the princess could have done better. Of course she would love him, she never saw another human being and he is charming. And of course he would love her, she is pure hearted and I don't know a princess with magical hair. BUT Disney why are you teaching little girls to settle? I loved the movie and I wished Flynn/Eugene was real so I better just shut up.

Now the gowns, ugly was very in in this red carpet walk. But I won't bother with that.

Grammy 2011

Finally, I got to see The Grammy Awards last night. What can I say? I am a busy person. And it was fun! Here is what I have to say about it. xD

• Christina Aguilera, pregnant? Cuz nothing else explains the double chin, tummy and arms.
• Ricky Martin seems to really enjoy coming out with that silver ugly pants. LOL good for him.
• Dear Lady Gaga, "don't be a drag, just be a queen"? LOOK WHO'S TALKING! The whole night, everything she did and wore was an epic fail.
• While Katy Perry was performing Teenage Dream, Nicole Kidman was singing. The cutest thing.
• It's disgusting how Justin Biber and John Mayer would both be nominated in the same category. I didn't hate JB before but now!
• JB needs an IQ test ASAP! I looked up the lyrics and he says never in his Never Say Never song, 38 times!
• The person who dresses Rhianna should quit NOW!
• The Suburbs, album of the year, really? FAIL!

Oh Happy Day

Guess who's birthday was it? Well it's this señorita's 22nd B-day. xD

Al7mdullah I had a blast.

Drew blood for the first time from my friend. Was surprised with a birthday cake the minute I stepped home ♥. Went out with la familia to dinner and then frozen yoghurt. Watched Real Madrid vs Malaga. RM won for ME 1-4 and Cristiano Ronaldo scored 2 goals for ME! ♥

Eid Mubark

I'm glad it's going to be on a Friday. I just love how what they taught us in school comes to life. You know when Jumu'ah prayers become not obligatory to all men. If some went, it's enough. Although I'm a woman and I don't have to go anyway, still I find it very amusing.

2010 World Cup Memories and Rants

This post is for me to reflect upon in 4 years time. Inshallah I'll be reading it in Brazil. If you didn't watch this world cup you won't understand what I'm talking about and maybe even if you did.

I can't believe it has been a month already. It feels like just last week we were watching the opening match. Staring at a black screen with the words "no signal" no thanks to al Jazeerah.

Remember how I said I won't root for a specific team and that I'll just root for the hottest one every match. Yeah that was not the case. Not even close. I was sold to Germany the minute I knew Mesut Özil was playing. A Very amazing Turk player. Plus I love Germany in the medical field and I think it is a great country. Too bad for Mesut he was only a star in the matches against Australia and Ghana. But he is young and he is a big star in the making.
I loved the German team. Every and each one of them had a piece of my heart. I loved how they topped group D. As in D for Duha. Me. And how they scored 4 goals each in 3 of their matches. Which 4 is my lucky number. I'm telling you those are MY boys.
I was super sad when Muller got a yellow card in the match with Argentina and was to miss the match with Spain. Di Maria from Argentina also handballed but did not get a yellow card. So that is NOT FAIR! I hate the referees in this world cup. Bunch of ass holes. Anyway after my boys lost against Spain, I was DYING to know what was Muller thinking. I searched for an interview with him but nothing. I really wanted to talk to him. Puff I'm not a stalker. I just needed to know what was he thinking. LOL that sounds funny now. And then when Klose didn't play against Uruguay I was so heart broken. Oh why would he do that? The flu? Back injury? Those are not reasons. If he was dead, I would want someone to drag his corpse all over the field and hope for the ball to hit his body and score 2 times. If he did he would have broken the all-time FIFA World Cup finals scoring record of 15. I really needed to talk to him too. Enough about Germany. For now that is.

Now Portugal, at their first match I was at the beginning against them cuz my little brother rooted for them. I made jokes after jokes and made him change his mind and never ever root for them again. But during the match Cristiano Ronaldo, whom I never really understood why is everybody obsessed with him, threw and got himself a yellow card for acting I guess. He then screamed "FUCK YOU". I was signed, sealed delivered. Man that was HOT! And I am not the only one who thinks that. And that is how me rooting for Portugal was borne LOL.
The next match with Korea was just AWESOME! Loved every bit of the 7 goals. And how Cristiano was getting frustrated for not scoring himself and then he did score that silly yummy goal and LOL. He made my day. The next day my friend was insisting that the ball rolled over his ass and then he shot it. I told her I didn't see no ass involvement and that we must see it again to make sure. I still think there weren't but it is still a cute goal. Speaking of his ass, that same friend was commenting on it and another friend told her "siby his ass fi 7alo". LOL I think it was hilarious but that is just me. :P





To Spain,
You broke my heart twice. Kicking both of my teams out. But I'm oddly still happy that you won the cup. Maybe because you were really the best or maybe cuz you have hands down the hottest guys in the tournament.
I LOVED the second half of the match with Paraguay. Super entertaining. I watched it 6 times.

To Holland,

I love you guys and love your country. Had some amazing memories there. But what the fuck? It's football not kill-the-Spanish-game. You played too fucking rough at the final. Not cool.

To Villa and Wesley,

HAHA Muller got the Adidas Golden Boot Yaay. The only importance of the final for me, was to make sure you 2 freaks don't score. Woop woop. I say this with love cuz I like you both as players. :P

Dude this might be the longest, most disorganized post EVER!

On crying, that was a major up in the world cup. I just enjoy getting sad over them cute guys crying. Sick? I know. The most memorable crying dudes -I was struggling to find a word better than cry babies- were:

1. That cute Italian dude that was really crying but I can't really remember his name. LOL not so memorable ha?
2. Oscar the Paraguayan who lost the penalty shot against Spain. Y7ZIN!
3. Eduardo, Portugal's goal keeper. He BROKE MY HEART! Poor thing. He was really good.
4. Casillas, Spain's goal keeper, tears of joy. Top notch awesome happiness.
5. Wesley Senijder glistening eyes after he cried was so cute. Poor little thing.

Now let's talk in general. That was not in general? I mean about some random players.

1. Diego Forlan, you are HOT plus a very amazing player. You totally deserved that Golden Ball.
2. Luis Suarez, I really don't like you but you totally saved the day in the match with Ghana. That was REALLY FUNNY! Great goal keeping skills.
3. David Villa, you MOVE like a real matador. I like o.O
4. Siphiwe Tshabalala, I really like your last name.

I think this is enough. No one will read all of this let alone me. Oh wait. Last thing, I promise.

Note to STC: FUCK YOU! I LOVED watching/BBming the matches with Yori. For you to cut off the service just because I changed to prepaid so you won't rob me as much was plain WHAT THE FUCK YA 7RAMIAH! I have been begging you to TAKE MY MONEY for 2 WEEKS NOW and still NOTHING! I hope you burn in hell.

4th Year - Final Day

I had 4 finals today. Ophthalmology finale written and OSCE. ENT finale written and OSCE. I didn't REALLY study. I was busy last night. First with being excited about Portugal's match vs Spain. Then was busy being absolutely mad and depressed cuz poor old Portugal lost. And it wasn't a fair loss. Ronaldo so deserved at least a free kick and if so it was an absolute goal but the fucking referee denied it. Whatever, it is over right? Anyway, so after the match I couldn't possibly study. I discussed the thing with my friends on facebook then I went to bed. Woke up in the morning. Had some coffee, which I don't usually do. Started studying and did some or a lot of twittering. Went to the hospital. Took the ophthalmology written then at the OSCE, I wrote the answers at the questions sheet, although the doc specifically told us to write it in the ANSWERS SHEET. Thank God Dr.Bawzeer noticed and unfortunately wasn't very happy with my stupidity. So he got really mad, stood right next to me and pretended to scream at the whole auditorium but me and everyone around me knew he was actually screaming at me. At the moment I was so embarrassed, I wanted al ar9' tnsh8 o tbl3ny. Then a few minutes after, he came back to make sure I wrote them in the right place. Again whatever! Though some girls really LIKE this doc and I was told by one of them "You should be honoured he noticed you and talked to you". Really? I hope next time it happens to you then. But really thank you doc for noticing. Woosh.

Then there was ENT. Dr.Sindi kept fucking screaming like a mad man for an unknown reason to me. The dude almost gave me a heart attack. Anyway, the ENT OSCE was SUPER SHIT! I only wish the person who corrects my paper doesn't kill himself. The written was meh. But it couldn't just be a meh. No, God forbid. My tummy remembered its famous exams ritual that it has to make noises. And guess what? Yes, the resident was standing a few steps behind me. Fuck. I kept praying he doesn't hear my tummy and wished oh how I wished that I had breakfast before I came. It wasn't that loud so hopefully he didn't hear or that I never see him or doc Bawzeer ever again.

Then I rewarded my self with a Farppuccino and a cookie from Starbucks. What a wonderful day to end such a wonderful year. Please fifth year, do not be as wonderful or even more. My heart could only handle much wonderfullity.

God, I still can't believe this year has actually ended al 7mdullah. And it's been a full school year since I wrote this post: 4th Year-Day One.

By the way what do you think should I do something productive this summer or should I just lounge around? I'm so confused. Again whatever. Wish you all a great summer XoXO.

Note to KAU: 4 finals before an important match and then nothing at the days where no matches what so ever are held? FUCK YOU!

Imma Be

You know how you shouldn't allow kids to watch everything on TV cuz they will want to fly like Peter Pan and shoot each other? Yeah, I too should not be allowed. Why? I watch The Vampire Diaries and suddenly I want to be a vampire and I need to watch Twilight to kill that stupid fantasy. I watch Glee and boom I want a glee club at my university. Even though I can't sing. So You Think You Can Dance and I'm more realistic here, I just want to be more flexible. I watch the Olympics and man how much I want to be the first Saudi Olympian woman who brings the gold. I still want that. I have wanted to be a doctor, lawyer, mutant from X-men, cat woman, Lady Gaga and even wanted to get my own Pokemon. Never really wanted to be a gossip girl though.

My latest wanna be is a football player. Guess why? xD
But I don't want to play with the girls. Super lame. I want to play with the big boys and at the world cup only. I'll settle with being a goal keeper, since I don't want to be smashed. And as it happens to be I'm an excellent goal keeper or so I have been told.

Delusions aside, I came up with a more proper way to make my dream of playing with the hot, sweaty guys come true. I'll get into sports medicine. Ahh I can picture it already. *day dreams*

Now let's talk football, I am not cheering for a particular team. Cuz our fucking awesome Saudi team is not in. I decided to cheer for the cutest team playing every match. Super stupid girl attitude. But I'm doing it. Another thing, girls if you don't care about the world cup, don't pretend that you do. It annoys the fuck out of me. And no, my super-stupid-girl attitude is not the same, cuz I actually love sports. And if your not into the world cup and you are going all guys are stupid why are they into this shit and joining anti-world-cup clubs then you are coco. I advise you to keep it to yourself. Cuz who wouldn't want to see a bunch of hot, competitive guys making sports history? It gets your blood pumping while you are sitting in the comfort of your chair. Don't be offended. Do I sound bipolar? I'm just very disappointed. Algeria lost and broke my heart. Stupid Idiot goal keeper. Speaking of stupid idiot goal keepers, England's Green, tops the list.



See? I think they should seriously consider getting me.
